Chuck Gowin
Chuck Gowin recently joined PSI after a career in both the technology and financial services industries. Most recently, he served as the Business Development Manager at Hewlett-Packard for the Financial Services Industry, one of HP’s largest vertical industries serving Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets and Payments.
Chuck has more than 30 years. Starting with a regional Midwest bank, he has held roles in operations, information technology, consulting, and served as a group executive in banks across the South and Midwest. He was also the Senior Vice President, Strategic Technology Group, at Bank of America.
In 2000, Chuck joined Compaq Corporation, helping position Compaq for its entrée into wireless banking. With the merger of Compaq and HP in 2003, Chuck accepted the role of Business Development Manager for Retail Banking. As such, he worked with many of HP’s ISV partners such as SAS, Argo Data Resources, Corillian, Fidelity Information Services, Fiserv, and others. In 2007, Chuck assumed responsibility for all of the Financial Services Industry and worked with ISVs, Distributors, Resellers, and HP’s field sales force to deepen HP’s presence in financial services.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Chuck, attended universities in Ohio and holds an MBA from the University of Miami. He is based in the Carolinas, splitting time between Charlotte and Hilton Head Island.
