Joint
Underwriter Associations (JUAs) Organizations formed in
each state in the U.S. to provide insurance to those who cannot
obtain insurance in the voluntary market due to being in a
high-risk category. State statutes require that all companies
providing the same type of insurance and share the cost of
coverage for this group of insureds.

Judgement
Rating A method for determining insurance rates where
each exposure is individually evaluated and the rate is determined
largely by the underwriter's judgment.

Certificate of Deposit Certificates of Deposit issued
in large denominations for a minimum of $100,000.

Loans Large mortgage loans in the United States that exceed
